Dr Hamid Arandiyan obtained his Ph.D. in School of Environment (2014) at Tsinghua University and recipient of several awards and fellowships including Top 10 Postgraduate Award of Tsinghua University, working under the supervision of Prof. Junhua Li. In the meantime, he also collaboratively worked in the laboratory of Prof. Hongxing Dai at the Beijing University of Technology. He was awarded (2015) a Vice-Chancellorâ€™s Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of New South Wales. He was recently awarded (2018) a University of Sydney Senior Research Fellow. His research interests are environmental remediation and energy conversion, aiming to enhance sustainability by generating and using new fundamental insights on the molecular and nanoscopic level to develop feasible leads for the design of new catalytic chemical routes and processes. His recent research project involves the rational design of porous perovskite oxide catalysts for the environmental pollutant prevention and energy conversion. Dr Arandiyan has published more than 80 peer-review papers in heterogonous catalysis area.
Dr. Mal-Soon Lee is a senior scientist at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, Richland. Lee completed her Post Doctoral Degree in University of Pune. Lee did her M.S in University of Delhi & her B.S in Pusan National University, South Korea.She has been working in the field of computational physics and understanding the properties of different systems such as clusters, bulk solid, porous materials, heterophase materials at different conditions.

Dr. Bal zhinimaev completed his doctorate at the Boreskov Institute of Catalysis in 1978, then, as a post doctorate he carried out a number projects devoted to highly selective catalysts for hydrocarbon oxidation, light olefin epoxidation and SO2 oxidation. Starting from 1991 as a Head of research group he performed R&D projects on light paraffins activation, acid catalysis, selective hydrogenation of carbonyl group and Fischer-Tropsh synthesis, application of novel materials in catalysis like glass fiber in oxidative and environmental catalysis.
Dr. Bal zhinimaev has published more 170 research articles, 86 reviewed proceedings and 55 patents. He has served as reviewer for high-impact journals such as ACS Catalysis, ACS Sustainable Chemistry & Engineering, RSC Advances, ChemCatChem, Applied Catalysis A and B, Journal of Catalysis, Journal of Energy Chemistry etc. Dr. Balâ€™zhinimaev was Member of Editorial Board of Green Chemistry, Journal of Natural Gas Chemistry, Journal of Energy Chemistry. He is member of Russian Mendeleev Chemical Society, ACS, Scientific Counsil on Catalysis of Russian Academy of Sciences.

Pascal Granger (1964) studied at the University of Poitiers and obtained his Ph.D. degree in applied chemistry in 1992. His thesis was focused on the deactivation of copper based catalysts for biomass conversion in aqueous phase.
After a postdoctoral position at the University of Lille, he obtained a permanent position in 1994 and became full professor in 2003. He managed the surface analysis department of the University of Lille from 2009 to 2012. Now, he is head of the heterogeneous department of the Solid State and Catalysis Laboratory in Lille since 2009.

Dr. Zhenshan hou has completed his PhD at the age of 32 years from the Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics (LICP) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences(CAS) and postdoctoral studies from Max-Planck-Institut fÃ¼r Kohlenforschung, Germany. He has been appointed Full Professor at East China University of Science and Technology since 2006. He has published more than 100 papers in reputed journals and his current and main scientific interests include green chemistry and catalysis.

Prof. Dr. Xu, received his B.S. in Chemistry at Jiangxi University (1982), Master (1985) and PhD (1988) degree in Physical Chemistry at Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Academia Sinica. Started his career as a professor at Dalian University of Technology in 1992, worked as a visiting scientist at Northwestern University (USA, 1995 & 1997) and Georgia Tech (USA, 1996), he moved to Tsinghua University in 1998. He has also worked as a research student at Hokkaido University (Japan, 1986-1988), a short-term visiting professor at UC Berkeley (2002) and Hong Kong Baptist University (2003). His name appears on the Editorial Board of Applied Catalysis A-Gernal and International Journal of Oil, Gas and Coal Technology, International Advisory Board of Acid-Base Catalysis Group (ABC). He works in the field of Heterogeneous Catalysis with main interest on the physical chemistry aspects of new catalytic materials and catalytic reactions.
